NOWW Begins its 2024/25 Season!

With our 2024 AGM quickly approaching onTuesday Sept 17 at 6:30pm via Zoom, NOWW would like to invite everyone to join in for an exciting new year, featuring workshops (both virtual and in-person), book launches, the ever popular Wednesday Words with Vera Constantineau, and maybe a social or two! We're also hoping to build on the success of our very successful LitFest 2024, with a bigger, better event that features more of Northwestern Ontario's best writers!

If you, or anyone you know, is interested in helping out in any way, please send us an email! We look forward to working with all writers in NWO and can't wait to see what this year brings!

LitFest 2024 HUGE Success!

Northwestern Ontario's Largest Literary Festival took place May 10-11, 2024 with special guest, international bestselling author Guy Gavriel Kay! 

Over the two day festival, readers and writers alike participated in a variety of events including book signings with Guy Gavriel Kay, writers' salons, a literary market/book fair and a gala evening celebrating the success of regional writers and writing and announcing the winners of the annual NOWW Writing Contest.
