Description:
Learn about some of the common approaches to writing and editing a memoir; your own or that of family members. Then hear about David Chernushenko’s experience with independent publishing and book promotion.

Bio:
David Chernushenko promotes prosperous communities and healthy livelihoods through books, films, speaking and personal example. From 2010-18 he was elected to Ottawa City Council. In 2019, he published the “eco-political thriller” Burning Souls and in 2025 Standing with Underdogs: a family and personal memoir exploring his Ukrainian roots, life’s trajectory and penchant for backing causes that align with his values. In June 2026 he completed his second cross-Canada book tour.
